Lisa Bartley is a singer, violinist and one-to-one music tutor based in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
Lisa was a member of the London Philharmonic Choir from 2013-2016, regularly performing at the Royal Albert Hall with the choir, including for the BBC Proms and Classical Spectacular, and also participated in tours abroad. In September 2016, she participated in a performance of songs from the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Final Fantasy composer Yoko Shimomura at Abbey Road Studios.
She is now a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus and took part in the Last Night of the Proms in 2017. She also participated in the First and Last Night of the Proms 2018.
Lisa studied Music at Newcastle University. The course included first hand teaching experience and intensive performance studies. In the third year, Lisa spent the year abroad at the University of Illinois (Champagne-Urbana), gaining further performance and teaching experience. She received her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in 2008, after completing a major in Vocal Performance with voice training from Richard Wistreich, and a minor Dissertation. She has participated in choirs and orchestras in the UK and the USA.
Lessons are £40 per hour.
